To help reduce vulnerability to families living in Angkor Archeological Park and Tbeng commune, we have raised fund to help build 4 basic shelters of which each family were in desperate need of basic shelter. Each family have on average approximately 10 members living under the same roof.

After we have completed the basic shelter grant for this community, we continue to support the community through various other sustainable livelihood projects such as giving microfund and grant to women and family leaders to raise pigs, selling souvenir products, buying moto taxi to serve tourism, opening arts shop, opening wood carving workshop and ox-cart ride service taking visitors through a real Khmer village experience.

The effort and success in this project has had its ups and downs but overall we have created a culture among people of this community of optimism, partnership, hard work, cultural preservation, and the drive to improve themselves through education.
